Jacob Does DC...and learns what life is like without Dada at home. No nonsense baths, no electronics store or home improvement store runs, and, gasp, TV!
Yep, when Mommy needs a dose of sanity, on come the Teletubbies for a glorious 30 minutes of rapt toddler attention. We have sunk so low! Glad that's over!
So, where exactly did Jacob go?
Mount Vernon (Mansion Tour and Washington's Tomb)
Potomac Mills (not like that's unusual for him!)
Holocaust Museum
Photo op outside The Old Post Office
The National Aquarium
Photo op outside The White House
Smithsonian American Art Museum (The Renwick Gallery)
Ford's Theatre
Occoquan Workhouse (couldn't get close due to construction!)
Photo ops at the Washington Monument and Capitol
Museum of Natural History
IMAX Theater for a T-Rex Movie
Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden
National Gallery of Art
Springfield Mall (again, not really unusual)
That's a busy week! He learned to nap-on-the-go in the stroller, on the Metro, and in the car. He was a trooper! And we rode 4 out of 5 Metro lines!

Ayden and J
do The Wave.
Climbed into
a rocking chair
to people watch
Regressing to
babyhood in the
bouncy seat
J and K swim!

Waking up
after the sleepover.
Baby snuggles
make J happy!
(Carson was tolerant)
Just lounging in
the empty Jacuzzi
Ayden's B-Day
Party Gang

Last nap he'll
take at home
for a while.
Jacob and Liz
walk around Mount Vernon
while Mom is in line!
At Washington's Tomb Baby's first Metro ride
and Liz's too!

Second day on Metro
and still a novelty!
White House behind them
but J is thinking "Food"
and Liz wants food
and sunglasses!
Food on the Metro platform?
Officer, arrest that baby!
Heading into Ford's Theatre
(where Lincoln was shot)

J and Mom with Lincoln's
booth in the background.
LoveSac, Baaaaabeeee A dip in the pool Impatiently waiting
for the train

See the Monument?
Whatever, Mom, as long as
you keep the snacks coming
And the Capitol?
The snack cup is
almost empty, Mom!
T-Rex and his prey! Great art gallery, Mom,
really...zzzzzz
