When Jacob turned 1, he had one party. So, naturally, turning 2 called for two parties. Saturday, around 10 of his friends came over for a fun safari-
themed bash. The kids donned faux pith helmets to go on safari (in the living room) for elephants, giraffes, and lions (oh my!). Then it was time to play
Pin the Tail on the Zebra (cleverly made by mom, dad and the Internet). Next, the elephant pinata was coax'ed into giving up its treasures. Lunch, cake,
and goodie bags rounded out the day. On Sunday, the families came and Jacob thought he'd won the lottery. A day of friends and then a day of family, all
paying attention to him and loving on him. The cousins raced scooters around the basement, helped him play with his presents, and made his day. Clearly,
Monday was a huge let-down after such an exciting weekend. Here are some of the activities captured on film, er, cf card:
