December 16-31, 2006

As the holidays rapidly approached, we realized that we were having a houseful of family and no decor.  We were still putting ornaments on the tree the morning that everyone arrived and the tinsel never made it on (oh, well!)  It was such a bummer when we realized Christmas was over and there was so much more we had wanted to do - from see more elaborate lights displays to actually buying gifts for everyone we thought of.  We spent the following week shopping like fiends.  Jacob is going to have one bountiful birthday, other family members are going to get some "Just Because" gifts that should have been for Christmas, and Lucas, well, he's just chilling out through it all.

Our New Year's Resolutions: Jacob resolves to turn 3 with a bang (and a Buzz Lightyear party?), start using the potty consistently, and find a cure for cancer.  Lucas resolves to learn to roll/crawl/walk and talk, snuggle with everyone, and solve World Peace.
