What can we say about January? Well, it was a pretty good month. Jacob turned 2 (see previous page) and was very excited about that. He attended a friend's
birthday a couple weekends earlier which gave him the basic idea of what it was all about so that was good practice. He started attending bi-monthly library
programs and really enjoyed them so we are going to continue it until he indicates otherwise. The last one was a craft one so we have the cutest little
paper snowman with foam snowflake stickers and construction paper cutouts (there were marshmallows but, at the last minute, the artist decided they were
gauche and tore them from the page) and it hung on the fridge for a while = one of the cute perks of parenthood that you look forward to. "Art" on the fridge
made for you by your child's own two hands (okay, he had a bunch of help - we were not letting him just go wild with the glue, thanks!) Road trips became
more common and such a joy thanks to the DVD player. We took Uncle Boo to the airport, went to a big kid movie (he didn't really like it, though), and to
the National Zoo in DC. Not a bad selection of winter activities. He spent much of the month fighting a sinus infection which finally really kicked in
with a vengeance at the end of the month. Enjoy the pictures below, just a small sampling of the shots the baby paparazzi took over the month:
