March 2006

March has been a great month for Jacob. School, playgroups, some nice sunshiny days and some nice cold days so lots of variety. This month brought a triple
dose of family, first Grace's birthday party, then two whole Saturdays with Grandpa and Grandma N., then Grandpa V came to town and came to the Air and Space
Museum with us, then an Imax movie about flying, then a nice walk over to the Natural History Museum. He had so much fun! In academia, Jacob is getting much
closer to mastering the entire alphabet song. No progress on the counting. It seems like he knows how to but he'll get lazy and just start counting upward
instead of actually looking at what he's counting. So when he counts more than five items, he just keeps going until he hits 20, even if there are only 7.
He discovered "Squeezy Yogurt" and "Squeezy Applesauce" this month (outside influences are bad!) but Mom found organic versions so he doesn't know that he is
not getting all the dyes and sugar and pesticides that make the Dannon stuff so delicious. Now if only Kraft made an organic version of their ranch dressing
which Jacob loves to dip carrots in but does not like any other brand (neither do his parents)... On with the photos:
