December 2007

Not too many pictures were taken this month.  Maybe because we were either indoors when it was cold or outside trying to enjoy the rare warm day?  Maybe because Lucas started walking and required way more hands on time.  If you look at his forehead, in many of these shots, you'll see bruises.  Not only did he take a few blows while perfecting his walk, but he also expresses his frustration by banging his head on the floor and the walls.  Thus the need for language is heightened and we began trying to teach him a few signs in the meantime.  He also finally started tolerating food, as you'll see.  As for Jacob, well, he is just blossoming into a great kid, fun to play with, an awesome big brother, and is looking forward to his pirate-themed birthday!
