March 16-31, 2007

Fun, family, and friends defined this part of March.  The boys had a great time, as usual, were thoroughly entertained by their willing jesters (aka Mom, Dad, and everyone else), hung out, rolled with the punches.  Jacob has begun an escapee phase.  We are the wardens, he is the convict, and every opportunity he has, he shall flee with all the common sense of a 3 year old.  Hence, we find him about to do (or having just done) something incredibly dangerous and life-threatening and totally oblivious to it.  If he survives to see age 4, it shall be a miracle.  Riding across the street, running off in a strange neighborhood, hiding in clothes racks at the mall, yikes.  You'd think he was miserable at home.  But the theory is that the voice in his head is louder than the voice of his parents and he can't hear us screaming for him.  Oh, what a horrid phase!  And Lucas continues to reflux his way into new outfits every few hours and creating a mountain of laundry for us.  When this ends, we will be steam cleaning every carpet in the house.  It's a good thing we're tall because they probably don't smell great up close.  And on to the photos:

Grandpa chases J around the basement.

I'm so excited that I have a handful of Daddy's hair!

Mmm, popsicle:

1 part water, 1 part apple juice

Heyyyyyyyy! So happy it's warm enough to be outside and that the camera is focused on him!

Bath time is cuteness time.  He looks uncomfortable but really wasn't.

Once the baby is out, the tub is mine, all mine! Cheesing with Gramma in one of her favorite photos. Like father, like son.

Ahhh, where are my arms?  I need to chew on my hands! About five seconds before the nap "ended" - big brothers are good at that. Out for a walk with the sleeping baby.

A late night stroll on private property.  Shhh, don't tell! A hug from Grandpa. The cherry blossoms in full effect make a lovely backdrop.

Running through the throngs at an early Easter Egg Hunt. Too bright out for little eyes. Oh, boy, another horse.  This is getting to be old hat.
